Our Story
Founded in 1962 in Wheeling, Illinois, Schaefges Brothers, Inc. began with a clear mission to provide professional construction services to the Chicagoland area. Over more than sixty years, we have remained a family-owned and operated institution, evolving with the industry while staying true to our local roots.
Growth has never come at the expense of our core values. We continue to operate with the same integrity and hands-on approach that defined our founding, ensuring that every client receives the personal attention of a family business backed by the resources of a premier contractor.
Built on Experience. Backed by Industry.
Schaefges Brothers, Inc. is proud to be a union contractor, continuing a longstanding commitment to skilled craftsmanship, quality workmanship, and professional standards. For more than 40 years, SBI has also been a member of the Concrete Contractors Association (CCA), strengthening our connection to the Chicagoland concrete industry and the standards that have guided our work for generations.
